The target audience was 300 staff members of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development. To collect data, a structured questionnaire was used. Data collected on frequencies and percentages were examined using descriptive statistics. According to the results of the study, there was a positive correlation between the methods used by the management in motivating employees and performance, indicating that they were successful in motivating employees in various ways. The relationship between training methods was significant and positively correlated. This shows that training new and existing employees helped improve employee performance. Additionally, the association between work environment practices is significant. This shows a beneficial relationship between work practices and worker performance. The study concluded that there is a positive association between employee performance and behaviors related to employee motivation, training, and work environment. To retain its employees, management is encouraged by the study's recommendation to invest more in employee training and improving working conditions.
